What Is Queen's Model Parliament?
Queen’s Model Parliament (QMP) is an annual undergraduate mock parliament held at the House of Commons in January. Entirely student-run, QMP is a unique conference that combines the skill sets of multiple disciplines to explore the issues Canadians face on a daily basis. QMP aims to give students a channel to express themselves and explore the heart of our legislature, following the lead of many prominent Canadian leaders in both politics and media.
Why Attend Model Parliament?
QMP is an incredibly unique opportunity available to students. Not only do delegates interact with their peers from different faculties and interests, but they get to do this at Canada’s most important federal institution. QMP strives to expose its delegates to the fascinating world of Canadian politics, providing an opportunity for delegates to broaden their horizons and inspire them to make a difference.
